Feet are our second best buddies. They literally walk us to our destinations. And though our feet are often covered by shoes, you can’t assume they’re safe from anything. Actually, they are more prone to bacteria. Fungi loves inhabiting warm and moist environments and shoes are the best example of that.
Some foot wear tend to harden heels and can cause small callouses. However, salons can charge seriously high prices for these treatments. Its not practical especially with the crisis. Don’t fret. You can have soft and beautiful hands without draining your pockets.
Strawberry Exfoliating Cream
A delicious treat for your feet! Did you know strawberries are effective exfoliators? Remove dead skin cells lusciously with this recipe. Pick 8 strawberries and crush them lightly in a bowl or any container. Drop 2 tablespoons of olive oil(or safflower oil) and dash a teaspoon of kosher salt.
Make a paste and remember as earlier said, crush the strawberries lightly to prevent them from excreting too much juice. Rub the cream on your feet and massage it thouroughly. For a variety, you could add grinded almonds.
Soothing Foot Lotion
The ingredients are:
1 tablespoon almond oil
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon wheat germ oil
12 drops eucalyptus essential/fragrance oil
Combine all of these step by step in a bottle and shake. Shake it well and thoroughly to marry the wonderous effects of these oils. Then, like any other lotion, apply a genereous amount to your feet especially to your heels and soles.
