The Basics of Nail Art
These days it seems as though anyone can get on board with nail art. Nail art is used in many nail salons as well as at slumber parties! If you think that you might want to give nail art a try, take a look at the basics and what you are going to need! Believe it or not, you do not have to be an artist of any kind to get the hang of nail art. For the most part you just need a few colors and a paint brush and you will be all set to go! Before you begin, it is always important to ensure that you have the correct equipment. A fine paintbrush, glitters and rhinestones and paint! Make sure that you apply a simple basecoat of clear polish before you get started. This will create your blank canvas and allow you to create a truly original design. When you are just getting started, try practicing with various shapes and lines. This will give you a feel for the brush and the small size of your nail.
Those of you who want extra practice may want to buy a set of fake acrylic nails. This will allow you to develop a steadier hand and a better design. Try and make sure that you practice on a daily basis. This will strengthen your hand muscles and allow you to paint steadily for longer periods of time. Once you get enough practice done, you may be ready to start on your friend’s hands! Try to practice on your friends as much as you can. Before you know it you may be working in your very own nail salon!
