Nutrition is always vital. Sometimes, you just don’t get enough nutrients for your body. Start eating healthy and staying on a well balanced diet. This usually helps out a lot since most people that are stressed are always hard at work and ignore their body’s call for food.
Sleep, Rest and Meditation
Sleep for a longer period of time. Maybe you just aren’t getting enough hours in! Keep your body well rested. Recharge your batteries before going back to the battlefield again. You can try doing Yoga and Tai Chi to help you with meditation and relaxing. Also, try taking powernaps or siestas.
Exercise
Hit the gym or hit the streets and get take a lap around the neighborhood. This will really get you pumped up and at the same time, give you a boost in energy. Try exercising at least 3 times a week and you will definitely see the difference.
Humor
Laugh. You cannot neglect the power of laughter. Have a fun night out or enjoy the whole day with a close friend or with the family! Be positive and enjoy the moment.
Rehydrate
Try to religiously drink 8 glasses of water daily. If you are a larger person, add a couple more glasses. You can also try tea which is what I prefer to do. This will be so soothing for you and you’d forget about stress.
If stress problems persist, then try consulting with a doctor or attend counseling. Remember to mange your time well so you can spend time with your loved ones too. If all else fails, then take a course. That should get you over the funk you’re in.
